We have had another busy few weeks here at Bader Academy and the time has simply flown by. It is hard to believe that we are almost at the end of our first year and what an amazing year it has been! A lot has been happening over the last few weeks and we have another busy week ahead of us before we break up for the summer holidays.
Active Day- Thursday 15th July
On Thursday 15th July, we will be holding an ‘Active Day’ at school in lieu of holding a tradition Sports Day. There are a number of activities planned throughout the day and we have managed to secure some external providers to come in to school for cycling and Taekwondo. There will be a carousel of activities to ensure all pupils can have a go at each activity. We encourage the pupils to come to school in active wear/ sports kit on this day to make them as comfortable as possible.
Clancy Briggs Cycling Academy will be in school on ‘Active Day’ and they will be bringing a selection of bikes to teach our pupils cycling skills. So that your child can participate, please complete the consent for via the forms link below.
Consent form https://forms.office.com/r/pJkerQ5egL
Without this being completed, your child will not be able to have a go on the bikes. Also, if your child has a cycling helmet, please bring this to school on Thursday. As many activities are planned for outside, please can we remind you to send your child with sun cream, a sun hat and water bottle on this day, if they do not already have these in school.
End of Year Reports
All pupils End of Year Reports have been sent to families. I cannot begin to tell you how immensely proud I am of all Bader pupils and what they have achieved over the course of this year. It has been an absolute pleasure to read each and every report, and see just have far the pupils have come. I want to say a massive thank you to you, for the amazing, positive feedback we have received from our families saying how pleased and proud they are of their child’s report. We could not achieve what we have so far, without the continued support from you, our families.
As we are drawing close to the end of this academic year, families have been contacted where there is an outstanding dinner money balance. We kindly ask that this be paid by no later than Friday 16th July. If you require any assistance or wish to discuss this further, please contact the school office on 01302 433003.
I would like to say a huge thank you to all families who have completed the parent survey and provided us with feedback. As with anything like this, the views shared are greatly important in helping us to shape and develop our school further. As the view gathered are anonymous, please feel free to contact me, if there is anything would like to discuss or address personally.
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. Please do not hesitate to contact us if there is anything you wish to discuss further, either via telephone or email and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
