Our half-term curriculum overviews for Years 3 to 11 provide a clear summary of what pupils are studying in each subject. They outline the key knowledge, skills and topics being covered, along with the subject-specific vocabulary children will be using in lessons. The overviews also include recommended talking points to help parents and carers discuss learning at home and support their child’s understanding. Subjects such as English, mathematics, science, history, geography, computing, art, music, PE, RE, PSHE, DT, MfL and Careers are all included, with content carefully matched to each year group. These overviews are designed to keep families informed about current learning and to encourage children to talk confidently about what they are studying. By sharing the important vocabulary and suggested conversation starters, we aim to strengthen the connection between home and school and help every child deepen their learning throughout the half term.
